Property Description

East of Lephalale, this income-producing big-game preserve offers diverse terrain, from flat open country to very dense bush. Creeks and gullies forms from small koppies that runs into smaller rivers and finally into the seasonal Klip River, which had two large dams (eight others throughout) that form a habitat for hippo, crocodile, very large birdlife and a variety of fish. The diversity of the terrain support many native species, including elephant, white and black rhino, buffalo, various species of plains game and small creatures typical of the bush veldt. The five-star luxury lodge complex consists of four luxurious air- conditioned chalets with en-suite baths surrounding the pool area, an indoor lapa, dining room and bar area and separate kitchen facilities. A fifth house was converted into a hunting camp. The entire reserve is electrically fenced and generates income from international echo and hunting safaris, local meat hunters, as well as a yearly auction of the excess animals on the reserve. The reserve has 13 bore holes with 7 Eskom equipped and two submersible solar pumps, all which serve the livestock and households. Call for more details.
